Field Trip to Trincheras Sonora, 28 February - 1 March, 2020

Join the Desert Laboratory for a long weekend trip to visit our sister archaeological and cultural site of Trincheras, Sonora.

In collaboration with the Mexican National Institute for Anthropology and History (INAH), the Desert Laboratory is organizing a long-weekend (two-night, three-day) excursion to the Trincheras archaeological site, 28 February – 1 March, 2020. Led by the archaeological and cultural experts of the area (Elisa Villalpando, Paul and Suzy Fish, Jonathan Mabry, and Desert Lab Director Ben Wilder, y más!) we will spend our time exploring the scientific, cultural, and natural history of this remarkable site. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from the experts who literally wrote the book on Trincheras culture!
